Brief Introduction

Titanium alloy is an alloy composed of titanium as the matrix and a variety of other alloying elements (Al, Mo, Cr, Sn, Mn, V, etc.). Industrial pure titanium (purity of 99.5%) is essentially a low alloy content of titanium alloy, containing nitrogen, carbon and iron, silicon and other impurities elements.

Titanium alloy has the advantages of low density, high specific strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Titanium alloy mechanical properties are very good, strong corrosion resistance, at room temperature, titanium and titanium alloy can form a dense and stable oxide film with oxygen, so as to maintain good corrosion resistance. Moreover, its thermal strength is high, which is obviously better than aluminum alloys, and its mechanical properties do not change much at low and ultra-low temperatures. Superconductivity occurs when critical temperatures are reached. Due to its stable chemical properties, good resistance to high temperature, low temperature, strong acid, strong alkali, as well as high strength, low density, it is known as "space metal".
